Refereeing Adult Games in Eastern PA

USSF has mandated requirements that must be met by all State Associations, and has given each State Association authority over certain aspects of the requirements.

Click here for the current EPA Grade 6 and Grade 7 requirements.

Every year, EPA Referees must recertify for the following year.

In the CURRENT year, to qualify for NEXT year, you must:

  • obtain 5 hours of instruction,

  • pass a written refresher test,

  • depending on your level, pass a fitness test and game assessments,

  • complete a background check if you're 14 or older.

All of the details can be found at the links to the left.

Once the above are done, you must register with US Soccer (USSF). This should be done by December 31, for the following year.  See link to the left.

After State approval, you should receive your new badge and ID card from USSF in Chicago in about 6-8 weeks.

NOTE:   If you are transferring to/from Eastern PA from another State Association, contact
Frank Giancroce, epsarc@verizon.net to obtain clearance.
